>This is the first time, Twitter message sent directly from outer space. This is accomplished thanks to new services provided to the NASA astronauts who were on duty at the International Space Station or the International Space Station (ISS).
The message is :
“Hello Twitterverse!. We r now LIVE tweeting from the International Space Station ,the 1st live tweet from Space! 
More soon, send your ?”
The message was sent by an astronaut Timothy Creamer using the name @ Astro_TJ on Twitter service. TJ is currently serving on the ISS since December 20, 2009 and will spend time in space for six months.
The message was sent TJ from personal web access service called LAN Support Crew, Friday,january 22 2010. This service can only be used when the line high-speed satellite communications via Ku-band between the space station and ground control center in the middle connected. Not only Twitter, the service can also be used to access the web in general.
To access the Internet, astronauts equipped the special laptop with the virtual keyboard. Laptops can be used to access the desktop computer in the control center on the ground from a distance.
