A tsunami generated by the 8.8 earthquake hit Chile, but as Dave Price reports, damage appeared to be minimal.

A Tsunami-Hawaii that triggered by an earthquake in Chile, hit a number of places in Pacific, including the Hawaii Beach.

Not clear the extent of damage, But the initial wave that comes not so bad, that doesn’t reveal a giant tsunami.

Waves began crashing Hilo Bay on the Big Island just before noon local time Sunday. Water began to pull away from the beach, showing reefs and send files dark muddy, sandy water offshore. Water and then swept the Coconut Island, a small park off the coast of Hilo.
