>A woman in Quetta, Pakistan was forced to gave birth in a rickshaw, a means of transportation in the shape of two-wheeled cart pulled by humans.
The auto rickshaw trapped by congestion due to road closure, to allow a convoy of President Asif Ali Zardari passed comfortably.
“We appeal to the police that this is an emergency, there are women who give birth, but they say ‘nothing is allowed before the Presidential convoy passed’,” said the woman’s brother, Mohammad Zafar.
“It is outrageous, the people suffer just because of the high officials to pass.” Hearing that, Zardari felt guilty and apologized, and asked its officials are not as rigid as that.
“Alternative route must be sought to ensure the public is not harmed,” Zardari said as quoted by APP.
